Griffin Development Services, LLC is operated by Sherry Griffin Grundy.  Sherry began offering resource development services, as a consultant, in 2005, after eight years on staff at various nonprofit organizations in the Northern Nevada region.

As a resource development professional, Sherry maintains an active level of participation in the field's leading organizations.  She has been a member of the Society of American Archivists (SAA) since 2010, the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP) since 2010, the Nevada Museum Association (NMA) since 2015, the American Association of State and Local History (AASLH) since 2017, and the American Association of Museums (AAM) since 2019.   As a resource development professional, Sherry is committed to high ethical standards and professional practices.  Over the past twenty-five years, Sherry has worked with a diverse group of non-profit organizations representing the environment, history and culture, health care and youth development.  Sherry was a Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE) for nine years (2003-2009).  In addition, Sherry has extensive experience with non-profit administration and finance.

In 2013, Griffin Development Services began focusing more specifically on archival collection management and historical research and how these resources can further the efforts of both non-profit and for-profit organizations in developing stronger and deeper relationships that are beneficial.  Returning to her educational training and love and interest in historical research, and specifically the documents, photos and artifacts that tell the story of our history, Sherry began offering services that included the research, cataloging, preservation and methods for sharing these important resources.  Proper management of these resources not only preserves organizational history and historical items, but also broadens the reach of organizations by sharing the collections with the community and providing an added element for financial support.  For individuals and families, coordinating an efficient search of historical information can provide facts and stories about the history of your family, the lives they lived, and how to preserve these histories for future generations. Collectively, the services offered by Sherry Griffin Grundy are "unlocking treasurers" for organizations, individuals and families.
